Who we are and what we're about

An example of how aviation fits into a school curriculum

A look at some of the highlights of the program

Where we see ourselves and how you can help

We live in a complex and shrinking world. Technology oftentimes outpaces the average person's ability to use its features to the fullest advantage. World population has grown to a point at which the earth cannot sustain itself without the cooperation of human beings. The family structure has changed so radically that traditional values are almost non-existent. Our children live in a multimedia world that teaches them that violence is the norm, family life should be modeled after the television sit-com; Mom and Dad are idiots and the wisecracking teenager is the one who pulls the family through life. Many kids of today seem to live as though they are the hero of an action show with a soundtrack playing in the background as they live each day.

All of this change in lifestyle is not the fault of any one factor. The real problem is the rate of change, not the fact that things change. We are bombarded with new ideas and products that are brought to the marketplace. We find out about new products that render yesterday's "toys" obsolete.

We spend so much energy trying to stay on the cutting edge, that everything else becomes a matter of putting out fires when the crisis arises.

How long can a business survive if it does not have enough profit to support its infrastructure? How long can a family survive if it will not take the time to solve its problems with loving solutions? How long can an individual survive if he feels that no one cares about him?
